Andrea & Bruce | Real Weddings

This past May I had the honour of working with Andrea & Bruce for their May 31st nuptials.  I honestly can’t say enough about this duo…energetic, stylish and SO much love in the room.  Watching Andrea come down the stairs as Serenata played Canon in D at the Design Exchange brought a tear to my eye.

The historic trading floor was draped in a sheer white fabric, backlit by fuchisa lighting and an isle completely covered in rose petals.  Guest’s were then escorted to the Exhibition hall to enjoy some passed hors D’oeuvre & cocktails as the ceremony room was transformed.

Guest’s gazed in awe as they entered over the bridge to their seats.  A colour pallet of fuchisa, soft pink and navy was a spectacular combination.  Guests enjoyed one of Toronto’s finest catering by none other than Daniel et Daniel.  I still crave my arugula, sweet pepper & asiago stuffed chicken.

Capturing it all was Johnny from Kiss the Moment Photography and is partner John.  Such a pleasure to work with and has some incredible talent. 

The couple has such a big heart that they took time out of there day and had the band “Chicken & Waffles” sing Happy Birthday to me!  Again, truly an honour and Congratulations!

Centerpiece Design | Inspiration

One thing I always suggest to my couples is to have a centerpiece that that is a breath taker.  Something that is not necessarily large in scale but has impact and compliments your decor.  Sometime’s all it takes is a centerpiece and some lighting, leaving some money in your pockets! 

I came across this photo and had to share it with all of my loyal readers.  Just in time for a Valentine’s Day wedding these lucite candelabra’s make me gasp everytime I see them.  Looking at something similar for a beautiful venue this year!

Isa & Mark {Real Weddings}

This summer has been a busy one so please excuse my tardiness in blogging. I promise to be back at it on a regular bringing you some of Bespoke’s most inspirational weddings.

Now for your eye candy, I am featuring Isa & Mark on their wedding day which took place this past Sept at the Bellvue Manor in Vaughan, Ontario. Aubergine, Granite Grey and a lot of bling set the tone for the ballroom. Rich in textures, fabrics and family flown in from all over the world, it was one of the most romantic settings to walk into.  Not to mention a happy hour which I absolutely fell in love with.  This idea included everyone crowding onto the dance floor with their ball gowns, top hats, neon glowsticks and shades on.  Each table had an individual bling table runner with centerpieces that soared to the ceiling…..

Photography was taken by none other than Greg at Signature Studios located in Toronto.  He is so easy to work with and has a true vision for detail, Thanks Greg!
